What a perfect New Years getaway! We arrived with another family of friends to have a ski holiday. The cottages were exactly as we imagined! "Cozy, warm, fun, exciting & comfortable" is how my 9 yr old described it. "Old fashioned cool, decorative and great stuff on the wall" is what my 10 yr old said. So close to the mountain, made it terrific. We hope to return again to enjoy the porch and view during warm months. Happy New Year - See you again! ~ The Healy's

Clean, crisp and cozy, the moment you walk over the threshold in Sheila's cottages you feel that happy at-home feeling. There is a fresh air feel welcoming you home each day after long afternoons of water skiing or tubing. We rented a boat almost every day and had a ball. We thought 9-5 would be too long on the water, but it wasn't. We could have stayed out till 8pm. The water is so clear you can see the kids whole bodies immersed in it. We made our vacation plans late and thankfully Sheila was able to accommodate us in her fairy-tale setting. ~ Margaret Hull

Leaving New Jersey with no reservations, we took our chances! Nothing 'On Star" or through the Chamber of Commerce felt right. So we traveled on into Sunapee Harbor, still with no "room at the Inn." Imagine our surprise when we looked up to see the Grande Old House and cabins... lovingly restored since our last New Hampshire vacation! " Pinch Me" I said to my husband and four kids. Thus began the first of our, hopefully many, perfect stays in the Sunapee Harbor Cottages. Keep up the good work! ~ The Beckwith's

Sheila, It has taken four years, but we have now found the perfect place to stay when we visit Mt. Sunapee! The Weetamoo Cottage was comfortable, warm & clean. I never knew how well my husband and I are able to unwind and relax until we came here. Even though the weather was crummy. We still had an amazing time enjoying the laid back, relaxing atmosphere of the cottages and the surrounding town. It was the perfect setting to celebrate our 2-year anniversary and the upcoming birth of our first baby! We had such a great time from jumping in the lake at Dewey Beach, to climbing to the top of Mt. Sunapee, to enjoying the best dinner we have ever had at Potter's Place Inn. The porch, screen door, view of the lake, only added to the charm of the cottage. Walking barefoot across the wood floors and looking at the big ceiling beams, feels remote, cozy and my compliments to the builder! Love the wood stove with a view. The rockers on the porch remind me how to sit, rock and slow down the pace. The guys enjoyed going to the NASCAR race, and the girls had a great time biking Sunapee Harbor Loop.
